About the Role

‍

We're looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to help build the platform that runs a forwarder's business, from the first booking to the final invoice.

‍

This is an opportunity to shape the core of the product at an early stage. You'll work directly with our founders and a small engineering team in Bangalore, and your decisions will set how the platform is built for years.

You'll own hard problems end to end: modeling a messy, real-world domain, building AI that does real work in production, and running infrastructure that has to stay reliable as more customers go live.

Just as importantly, you'll help us rethink how software gets built in an AI-native company. We use AI tools every day, and we want engineers who make the team faster with them while holding a high bar for what ships.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership, direct exposure to customers, and the opportunity to build something from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Design the core of the platform. Model shipments, containers, orders, customs and the documents that tie them together, and design the APIs the rest of the platform is built on.
• Build AI that does real work. Build the AI that reads documents and emails and takes work off a forwarder's plate, and measure it with evals and tracked metrics before and after it ships.
• Run infrastructure that scales. Keep our serverless infrastructure fast, reliable and cost-efficient as volume grows.
• Work with customers. Join customer calls and onboarding, understand how a forwarder actually runs a shipment, and turn what you learn into a clear spec and then into software.
• Raise the engineering bar. Review code, including AI-written code, mentor engineers, and help set how we design, test and release.
• Own what you ship. Watch how your work performs in production, find the root cause when something breaks, and fix it for good.

What We're Looking For

Above all, we're looking for an engineer with exceptional ownership, judgment, and the drive to build something great.

• You take ownership. You see problems through from the first customer conversation to production and beyond.
• You think in systems. You can explain why a data model or an API has the shape it has, and what breaks when it changes.
• You measure, not guess. You judge AI features with evals and metrics, not demos.
• You're AI-first. You use AI coding tools every day, and you catch them when they're wrong.
• You love working with customers. You want to understand the problem before you open the editor.
• You're comfortable with ambiguity. You can take a problem nobody has defined yet and turn it into a plan.
• You care about the details. Edge cases, failure modes and the experience of the person using your software all matter to you.

Bonus Points

• Several years building and running production software, ideally at a startup or a fast-growing product team
• Experience with serverless or cloud infrastructure at scale
• Experience shipping LLM features with evals and tracked metrics
• Background in freight forwarding, customs, logistics, or supply chain technology
• Experience with enterprise integrations, data migrations, or multi-tenant SaaS
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading a small team
